| I’m so honored … my book, The Author’s Walk: Finding and Using Your Voice to Create Publishing Success was announced as the WINNER in the Business/Writing-Publishing category via America Book Fest’s Best Book Awards on Sunday. And I got a bonus on MONDAY … it will be featured throughout the year on the AmeicanBestFest.com website.
Last weekend, eight authors were in my neck of woods for the Heritage Eagle Bend Crafts Show … our craft was books and four hours of sales happened. Our fave part was post when several of us gathered for a late lunch and author talk.
This Wednesday … I will be doing part 2 of the Amazon Bestseller class and then immediately transition to a one on one hour with Hall of Famer Jill Tietjen. At her core, she comes from the engineering world to writing 14 books. Join me for a fast paced hour. Always insightful and fun.
And this Saturday is the final Author Salons for the year. November 8—via Zoom for the 7 to
8.30 am crowd and 9 to 11.30 for the In-Person crowd here in my home. December will be an In-Person Brunch on the 9th. Get registered… Info below.

| Question of the Week ... How does Amazon’s Unlimited work?

Answer: Authors with books on Amazon can participated in the Unlimited program. They get paid via a “pooled” fund that is supported by readers who are subscribers to Unlimited (under $10 a month) … meaning they can download, read a few pages or the entire book. The more pages read, the moneys you can earn increase significantly. It is not uncommon for the Unlimited reader to transition and buy the book—either downloading the eBook or purchasing the print version.
