This Week Under The Book Shepherd’s Roof
Hello and Good Publishing Day to YOU …
Oh-Oh … my doorbell rang last Saturday morning at 9. A few authors assumed that I had the IN-PERSON AuthorYOU Salons that morning. The problem was, there wasn’t one. They hadn’t registered, assuming all was a go and just show up. It wasn’t. It had been canceled. I did spend time with them … but I had the Online version that started at 7 am MT that morning and we were done. For AuthorYOU members only. It’s a combo mastermind and a mini-advisory board to draw from. A monthly get-together that has huge benefits. The 9 am version had been canceled due to not having the magic signup of at least five attending. The rules were put into place in December. Please remember.

Webinar Replay … the Ultimate Workbook Model
The Workbook Creation offer from this week’s webinar ends on Monday. Do not pooh-pooh the power of physical, printable books. It’s what the majority of readers and workshop participants want: touching, writing on them, even turning down the corner so it physically pops to the eye when looking for a key citing or adding a sticky note. It’s what works. They are a magnet.

Product Expert Debbie Drum reinforced the power for why you want your fans, followers, and future customers desire to have something physical to take your sage advice and wisdom and reinforce it … it’s creating a workbook in a printed format.

#1 Takeaway: Having one of these gains you more buying customers and fans …

#2 Takeaway: one of the best ways to achieve this is to have a printed workbook. There are VERY FEW authors using this powerful tool to gain customers and get more sales.
Here’s the Webinar replay available through MONDAY midnight: https://debbiedrum.lpages.co/workbook-wealth-judith-briles-jan-2022/

If you want to bypass the webinar and get to the offer page, this is it: https://debdrum.com/wwjudith

Question of the Week

Question: Should I start a podcast?

Answer: Hmmm … this question needs more info. Are you ready to commit lots of time to it? To market it? Do you have the tech background to support or have resources to hire it? If you can’t answer an enthusiastic “yes” … the answer is NO. Better yet, work on being a guest on others’ podcasts. Learn to pitch; get to the point; and promote your expertise and book.

You can pick my brain … minimum time is 30 minutes. If you need one-on-one-time with me, I’m always open for a few minutes to give you some quick input. But, and it’s a BIG BUT, many call and expect far more than a few minutes.

This is called a “consult” and I would be delighted to schedule time with you for “just you and your many questions” that need answers. You can book time with me it at: http://bit.ly/JudithCoaching

Author Friendly Friday this week …

Join Author Friendly Fridays: a fun, sharing and a dynamic closed group. You can join in the next week. It’s a full hour when you can ask questions—any question. And, I always include a few strategies to get your authoring life ahead of the competition.

It’s for paid subscribers ONLY and we do it on Zoom.

This is how each call starts: I share a few strategies, tips and tools that attendees can immediately start to use. All share … and ask plenty of questions. They get answers. Definitely an excellent way to start a Friday. Those of you who aren’t participating, you are making a mistake. I love the variety of books and authors who have chosen to participate. What’s also fun, is the energy that can be felt with what everyone is working on. Love it!
