This Week Under The Book Shepherd’s ® Roof
Hello and Good Publishing Day to YOU …
Looking forward to major planning for the New YEAR ... including creating a new 4-week Book Marketing Workshop ... all online.
Wishing you all joy as Christmas Eve unfolds today. No one in my neck of the woods of Colorado will be waking up to snow on Christmas morning … and definitely not cold weather like last year. Weather forecast for the Denver area is slated for the low 60s … so not wintertime here. My offices will be closed until next Monday (December 29) with the exception of the early morning coaching call on Friday the 26th from 7 am to 8 am … to plan, strategize, and write uninterrupted. I’m working on a new 4 -week Book Marketing workshop to roll out in March. All of us need some days away to look forward for the coming year. On Sunday, the Winter Solstice, I spent a wonderful evening having dinner with a friend and then walking through Denver’s glorious Botanical Gardens
at this time of year. The light displays were simply sensational—brilliant in colors and design. The gardens plan all year and start the implementation of all the lights after Labor Day. Whew … what a piece of visual art and eye-candy.

| Question of the Week ... I would like to write a thriller novel. What should I write about?
Answer: Oh boy … if you don’t know what your general storyline is, you have a problem. So, I’ll ask
this: Why do you want to write a thriller? Do you read them? Do you watch thriller/action movies? What’s your favorite author? Book? What do you like about him/her and the book? If you have to ask someone “what should I write about” … maybe you aren’t the writer for the genre.
