| It was a happy dance for me this past week. With the Amazon Bestseller drive for my book The Author’s
Walk, it was #1 in four categories in the U.S., Australia, and Canada. I can check it off on my dance card. Next was to get through the double edit I had going on for my next book, Appetizers with Judith. One set landing on Thursday that I did the accept/reject recommendation and then three days later doing the same with the second. The next task was to merge both onto a new master. Read once again and then a “Hello WeTransfer upload …” to send to book layout 24 hours later. Done.
Within 10 hours, I had the first sampling of layout to approve. Done. Away I go …
Definitely make sure you add Saturday, August 15th starting at 4 pm to your calendar. The location is my home … it’s the Author Gathering Food Fest—formerly the Author BBQ— food, author friends, and catch up.

My Answer: Hmmm … this question needs more info. As in polish your manuscript to get it to an agent? Or to introduce you to a publisher? Or to support you in your marketing efforts? What? Your writing group may be helpful with feedback. Or maybe not. As a bridge to agents and publisher and marketing. Probably not. They
should buy your book when it’s available.
