This Saturday delivers the second Saturday of the month ... meaning its Author Salons. Remember—for it to be a go, there must be five participants besides myself. At the Salons, there’s lots of “free” giving and sharing. Taker who doesn’t give and share isn’t welcomed. All Salons are now posted on Meetup through December—they will be added to the Events tab on the AuthorYOU website this week.
I’m looking forward to working with eight authors starting this afternoon for my Amazon Bestseller 4-week class. Always fun ... I’ll be stepping in again with one of my new books.
Last weekend was a hoot at the Southlands Barnes & Noble Event that supports the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame event for the Aspiring Authors Scholarships. A final date was added for the summer in Colorado Springs at the Briargate BN on September 24th. There are a few spots available if you are interested in participating. Next up is the excellent BN store in the Lone Tree store on August 6.

Join the new frontier on Twitter on the ground floor of its social audio.
This two-hour event is split into two parts, a lecture and then a field trip.
Authors will hear about the fundamentals of adding a Twitter Space to their author platform. A case study with growth analytics will show movement with Twitter Spaces. We will discuss the global aspects of connection and collaboration derived from Twitter Spaces. I will highlight the elements of how to run a space.
And with that information, it’s part two. Get ready to take a field trip into a live Twitter Space and play. Dr. J. and friends will facilitate the

Question: There are times I get stuck. Any suggestions?
Answer: How about planning an escape? Drop away and out for a few hours, a few days, sometimes a few weeks. Authors need to
take a break. From their work, sometimes themselves. Read another author’s book; take in a movie or several; a cooking weekend; a mini get-away. The reality is that we authors need an escape hatch to rejuvenate our resources and words. Recognize it and take the walk when you need to.
