This Week Under The Book Shepherd’s ® Roof
Hello and Good Publishing Day to YOU …
Where … oh WHERE … has the month of May gone.  Whoosh, and it’s coming to a fast close as the sun rays of June come in to extend daylight.
It’s the “baby Finch hatchlings” are coming time. My front porch is the chosen site once again. As in the past, the wreath by my front door that becomes is the chosen site. Previous years at this time, the chicks are hatched and peeking out of the nest. Mama Finch is a month behind when I compare the laying time with years past.

My kitchen is busy. Testing recipes. Anyone who walks in is a taster. I’m almost there with the final gathering of what I’m including in my next cookbook, Appetizers with Judith. Shrimp Scampi Toasties, Chicken Salad Toasties, and Steak and Pepper Toasties were just added to the my growing pages. This week through Sunday is intensive. Will I meet my goal?

A huge shout out to author Jay Nakagawa for launching his book via his Amazon Bestseller campaign last week. He nabbed nine #1 categories on Amazon plus claimed #1 in the UK, Canada, plus the US. It was a good weekend for him and The UnConventional Strategist.

Is being a bestseller on Amazon calling to you? If you are thinking of doing an Amazon Bestseller run, make sure you get signed up for my four-week class that starts in June. As of today, there are only two spots left. Details below.

And for those of you in Colorado … do you have on your calendar, the In-Person Author Gathering pops up on Saturday, June 6th. Details below.

6 Question of the Week ... Do you have any tips and strategies for selling books at bookfairs , craft's festivals,
and conventions?

My Answer: Plenty. In an earlier blog, I identified 28 tips and strategies to use. If you haven’t read it, take a few minutes to do so. I called it The Authors’ Guide to Mastering the Art of Book Festivals and Crafts Fairs.

It’s here:

Smile of the Week
Love it when I find a fun shorty—a quick smile, a laugh out loud, a learn something new, and a sip of tea … and back to work—perfect. Smile time—and Optimism time. Take a minute and revisit the Carol Burnett show segment where Tim Conway takes a bubble bath.

Enjoy a few minutes … and laugh out loud … my two bits.

Enjoy … and have a good giggle … my two bits.

You can pick my brain … minimum time is 30 minutes. If you need one-on one-time with me, I’m always open for a few minutes to give you some quick input. But, and it’s a BIG BUT, many call and expect far more than a few minutes.
This is called a “consult” and I would be delighted to schedule time with you for “just you and your many questions” that need answers. You can book time with me at: http://bit.ly/JudithCoaching
Author Friendly Friday this week …

Join Author Friendly Fridays: a fun, sharing and dynamic closed group. You can join in the next week. It’s a full hour when you can ask questions—any question. And, I always include a few strategies to get your authoring life ahead of the competition.
It’s for paid subscribers ONLY and we do it on Zoom.
This is how each call starts: I share a few strategies, tips, and tools that attendees can immediately start to use. All share … and ask plenty of questions. They get answers. Definitely an excellent way to start a Friday. Those of you who aren’t participating, you are making a mistake. I love the variety of books and authors who have chosen to participate. What’s also fun, is the energy that can be felt with what everyone is working on. Love it!
