Labor day weekend was full of friends dropping into say hello to John as he said hello to birthday #91. Breakfast, lunches, and dinners. Now to finish my office move this week and get the Aspiring Author program to the printer.

One more thing--I check the number counts at noon on Friday. If they don't meet the minimum count required, I will cancel the event. Those of you who practice the art of being a Tardy Bird will be left out.

Question: How many words should a novel and novella be?
Answer: Try this: Anything that is more than 30,000 words is a novel. Anything between 10,000 and 30,00 words is a novella. Anything with a word count between 1 and 10,000 words is a short story.
