Last Saturday’s ZOOM Book Design and Swag Popapalooza with Rebecca Finkel and Nick Zelinger was a HUGE hit. If you were registered, you have received the video recording. If you weren’t, you missed a stellar program for a mini investment of your time and registration.

Nine AuthorYOU members spent an early afternoon at the Heritage Eagle Crafts Fair last Saturday. We all had a great time at the event ... but the best ... happened after we were all packed up. Heading into the Clubhouse restaurant, we settled in for a two-hour late lunch gabfest—from how do you write ... so how do you set up a storyline... what about ...? My reinforced takeaway— never, ever, ever underrate the power of being in-person present.

Just bring an unmarked gift to exchange in the off-the-wall Wacko Pick and Steal after lunch. If there are two in your party, bring two gifts so that everyone can leave with something. Be creative! The gifts tend to get pretty wild and fun.

This is how each call starts: I share a few strategies, tips and tools that attendees can immediately start to use. All share … and ask plenty of questions. They get answers. Definitely an excellent way to start a Friday. Those of you who aren’t participating, you are making a mistake. I love the variety of books and authors who have chosen to participate. What’s also fun, is the energy that can be felt with what everyone is working on. Love it!
