Question of the Week ... I’ve heard that I’m supposed to write every day. I can’t find the time to work on the book every day. What do I do?
Answer: Phooey … Most likely, what you are currently doing involves writing every day. I’m currently working on two of my personal writing projects. Finishing the first draft of Book 2- The Secret Hamlet with Brian Barnes and Book 1 of my Silver Magnolias series. Do I write a chapter or work on a chapter every day? Nope. I may think about it. But I’m busy too. And I have lots of writing to do. Blogs, ezines, campaigns for social media. Clients books. Sometimes a note to a friend—a catch-up. And yes, there’s the books.
The point is, I’m writing. And that’s what is important. It keeps my hands moving … my mind working … and my creativity in
play. I write every day … lots. When I decide that today I will work on my book, then the thinking, some of the creativity I needed post a podcast I taped earlier in the week could just be the lead for the chapter I will work on. I never know. I take notes during the show—phrases that my guest has used that trigger a thought. To write well, creativity needs to be in play. Nourish yours.
And with that said … what I wrote above was used in a section of The Author’s Walk-- took it and reshared it here. See … I’m writing … it’s a process.

Funny of the Week
Love it when I find a fun shorty—a quick smile, a laugh out loud, a learn something new, and a sip of tea … and back to work—perfect. Smile time enjoy— What happens when two strangers meet in a mall and there’s a public piano ... ENJOY ...
