Hello and Good Publishing Day to YOU …
Tomorrow is the last day to post up to five new books on IngramSpark without paying the $49 charge. The discount code that is good until the end of this month (March 31) on IngramSpark will allow you to upload up to FIVE books on the IngramSpark platform that have not been previously published. You must use your own ISBNs, not theirs. Here’s the code to use: FREEFIVE22

Woot … in just 9 days, the Extravaganza rolls out. Are you there? Or have you made a boo-boo and decided you have heard it all (you haven’t); you don’t have the time (really—figure out a way to carve time to be there.) There are a few partial scholarships available—call Judith NOW to see if you can grab one. Why should you … because this is the final time AuthorYOU will be doing an all-day event that offers a smorgasbord of speakers and topics for your learning and listening pleasure. forward, events will be one topic only.

Do you know the value of face-to-face learning? How about the connecting with other authors? Schmoozing. And laughing. Nick Zelinger shared that he heard Friday night’s standup comic Nancy Norton at the Stanley Hotel a few New Year’s ago. She was downright hilarious. And Extravaganza Friday night attendees get her for dessert after dinner for an hour of fun.

I’m there to absorb the writing wisdom of Barb Wilson on the afternoon of April 7th through Saturday when we close. Stay at the hotel (it’s so smart for schmoozing and ease)—room rates are $115. Use this link to get a reduced rate: bit.ly/EX2022Hotel … details below … get registered for your author and publishing success.

Question of the Week

Question: Why do I need another ISBN for Ingram Spark now?

Answer: The short answer … Because. That’s what Mom would have said when kids asked questions. My Answer: who knows. it’s DUMB and most likely a “power push” of some sort. Sigh. An edition of a book should have one ISBN that cross-pollinates in all venues and is acceptable. With that said, we now have a separate ISBN for any book that is listed on IngramSpark and post it on the copyright page. For the back cover, a separate cover is created with the ISBN on it for Ingram as well. Sigh again.

You can pick my brain … minimum time is 30 minutes. If you need one-on-one-time with me, I’m always open for a few minutes to give you some quick input. But, and it’s a BIG BUT, many call and expect far more than a few minutes.

This is called a “consult” and I would be delighted to schedule time with you for “just you and your many questions” that need answers. You can book time with me it at: http://bit.ly/JudithCoaching

Author Friendly Friday this week …

Join Author Friendly Fridays: a fun, sharing and a dynamic closed group. You can join in the next week. It’s a full hour when you can ask questions—any question. And, I always include a few strategies to get your authoring life ahead of the competition.

It’s for paid subscribers ONLY and we do it on Zoom.

This is how each call starts: I share a few strategies, tips and tools that attendees can immediately start to use. All share … and ask plenty of questions. They get answers. Definitely an excellent way to start a Friday. Those of you who aren’t participating, you are making a mistake. I love the variety of books and authors who have chosen to participate. What’s also fun, is the energy that can be felt with what everyone is working on. Love it!
