On Mother’s Day, I got the above email from one of my followers. Thank you. It was a lovely way to start Sunday. On my front porch, finch’s eggs debuted with four hatchlings–it’s always fun to watch the evolution of this small birds. Each year, it’s the wreath by my front door that becomes the nesting. The robins decided to move in and perched on top of one of my porch lights as well. There will be a lot of chirping when June arrives.
Lots happening this week. I’m scrambling to prep for my final knee replacement surgery, so will be down for a few days next week. Before I do, I’ll have the “final” fixings on my new personal website, JudithBrilesBooks.com, totally dedicated to just my writing. And I’ll be introduction my new
Judith’s Readers Circle—one of the goodies I’ll be giving aways is a mini cookbook of some of my personal recipes.

The West Village Lakewood BN BookFair last Saturday was so much fun. Lots of books were sold by all the
authors featured. Some had their “best sales day” ever experience. that support the author scholarships. We were greeted with an awesome sign and were swamped all day.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I’ll be setting up the Fall bookfairs before May ends. This is one of the benefits for AuthorU members to participate in—it’s a limited number who can. I’m so g rateful for the support B&N has given to the Authors Hall of Fame since its inception.
|
|
|
|
|
Next up is Sunday August 4 in Colorado Springs Briargate for the first itme. Several of our partiipants have been invited back to individual stores for “solo” signing events. Nice!

There are 23 steps in your journey … a journey where you could pay someone to travel and implement for you … or one where you can roll up your sleeves and learn how to create, implement, and execute. As in DIY.
The Create an Amazon Bestseller Campaign for Your eBook Online course is the later. I will take you through each step during the four weeks. When you complete #17, you are ready to execute. You are not alone … I’m your coach and advocate when the campaign begins.
My goal is for you to have all components for your campaign DONE before your implementation/execution day. All social media tease pushouts done and scheduled before the big day starts.
Requirements:
1. 90 minutes of your time online each week via Zoom with Judith Briles. Late Wednesday afternoon will be our start time.
2. Social media presence. Thousands would be good but not crucial. You will learn tips and tricks during each session that will have new adds every week.
3. An “I want to be #1 and I can do this attitude” and commitment to do the work during each session and post-work each work.
4. A computer. A free account on either Canva and BookBrush.

| Question of the Week ... When I checked up on Amazon I only had 1 book review. I had at least 11 - 12 reviews and I've had them for a while. Is there anything I can do about this? What's going on with Amazon?

Answer: The one review shows on the eBook format. The 12 that were on the “paper” format are there … just a different page. The eBook and paper pages need to be merged to one. The best way to do this is via Author Central.
Did you ever create the Author Central account? If you haven’t, do it here: https://authorcentral.amazon.com/ That’s the portal you go through to make changes happen and you will do it with a live phone
call that Author Central will create.
Once you are on Author Central, go to your Author Central website/portal. Click on the “Contact” – you will need to keep “drilling down” as it as questions. Keep “clicking” to get to the spot where you click on “call” or “text” … click on CALL and you will have a phone call within seconds. Tell the individual who calls you that you have two separate pages for the same book—one for eBook and the other at for paper—and that you want to combine them to ONE. She/he has the magic want to do it.
