Last week found me in Las Vegas. The image below was taken from a taxi I was in of the new giant Sphere that changes
its images. It’s a 366-foot-tall orb situated in the heart of Las Vegas with 1.2 million lit-up LEDs that went officially live within the last two weeks. A massive new event site ... not a casino.

| I was there to celebrate and support author Mike Howard and the launch of his third book, Full Circle, the first book in the Jack Trench Series. Hosted by Omega, we
were in the heart of the lobby area of the elegant Bellagio Hotel.
|
|
|
|
|
Ready for some “Author Drama?” Bestselling author friends Mara Purl and Tammy L. Grace hosted the second “Bookstop” in their Summer Virtual Book Tour last week!
|
|
|
|
|
First, they gave virtual tours of their beautiful fictional towns. Next they invited their protagonists to have a chat about small-town life, sister-dynamics, crime-fighting, and balancing it all. Their guest USA Today

Editing serves a very useful purpose. It’s essential for the indie author of today. Sometimes you will have used “jargon” or “slang” that is very familiar to you because you use it daily, but it is unfamiliar to your audience. At times, an event needs more explanation because it is unique to a particular locale. Occasionally, we will even suggest that you present the ideas in a slightly different order so that it will be easier for the reader to understand your meaning. At all times in the editing process, we suggest changes….it is up to you whether you wish to follow the suggestions or go a different direction.
Editing and Proofreading can be billed by the job or by the hour, depending on the length or difficulty of the manuscript. For short pieces, we usually charge by the hour.
