Good grief … the hail demons arrived Sunday afternoon and shredded whatever they could on my deck. Swiss cheese is what my umbrellas looked like … and I was grateful. Their shredding protected the large windows in my living room.
|
|
|
|
|
Today, I ordered the new banner that I’ll display in bookstores at events. Working on new writings and welcoming my muses of sun and water. The wall water feature on my back deck is on early in the morning. I welcome the sun as it rises … it will be a good day for creativity. And healing. All a good thing.

Lose your knack for losing things.

Answer: Simply this: ASK. Call and/or visit a bookstore—any bookstore. ASK who is the person who would coordinate author events. Connect with him or her. Have your pitch ready. Have info that is short, concise, clear—ideally, a book one-sheet. Let them know you will do a press release to alert those in the community to COME to the store. That you will promote the
event. And ASK.
