Hello and Good Publishing Day to YOU … and

It was declaring a “I’m totally back in the game” weekend. Physical therapy is done for the replacement/revision of my 20-year-old knee. As I worked through the giant stretch bands the PT folks referred to as the monster walk, I renamed it the Sandworm walk from Dune. The docs have declared surgery done and successful. And I’m so done with it as well.
On Friday and Saturday, I did two all-day back-to-back Book Publishing Unplugged
events with 15 authors. I have loved working with smaller groups where intensive coaching on the spot is delivered to them versus having the larger groups of the past.

Looking forward to joining BookBrush’s annual BookMarCon on Saturday, April 6th. I’ll be doing the opening session on How to Create an Ultimate Book Opt-In for Your Website to Gather eMails. One thing I’ve learned working with my Amazon Bestseller Campaign program, authors must do a refresh of their campaigns at least once a year to continue to satisfy the Amazon bots that they are still considered bestsellers. I will be doing a “redo” of Brian Barnes and my historical fiction debut, The Secret Journey starting tomorrow, Thursday through Saturday. Submissions have closed for the Aspiring Authors Scholarships. Who will be the recipients? No one knows yet. All applications will be moved now to the judges. If you are in Colorado, add September 16 to your calendar for a festive celebratory luncheon honoring the next five authors-to-be.

The April and May B&N Bookfairs are set up—agreements are signed with each and books have been ordered. Grateful for the support B&N has given to the Authors Hall of Fame since its inception. April 20 is at Colorado Blvd in Glendale, April 28 at Southlands Mall in Aurora, and May 11 at WestVillage in Lakewood—all Colorado based.
